International Summer School Tradinnovation

This document gathers the contributions produced during the first Tradinnovations Summer School, held in Slovenia between July 1st and July 3rd 2026, as part of the Tradinnov project. Bringing together students, researchers, academics, and professionals from diverse backgrounds, the Summer School provided an interdisciplinary environment for exploring the relationships between tradition, innovation, culinary sciences and gastronomy.
The proceedings reflect the exchanges, reflections, and collaborative work developed throughout the project. They showcase a variety of perspectives on the transmission and transformation of culinary knowledge and practices, highlighting the role of innovation in shaping sustainable and culturally meaningful food systems.
We hope that these proceedings will serve as a useful resource for researchers, educators, students, and external people interested in the cross of human and food sciences.
